We got a train wreck coming

Jan 11, 2024

Let us blow your minds with this:

Some Landlords are letting strangers in the house.

And no, it's not for a round of charades.

Here's what's up:

Say a Tenant hasn't coughed up the dough for their fancy TV they splurged on.

Now the boss man's at the door.

And he wants you to let him in.

People pleasers rise up!

But now is not the time to play nice.

Don't let someone in the house because a Tenant owes them money.

You're not running a pawn shop or playing Judge Judy here.

So, what's the play?

Zip. Nada.

Keep the door locked tighter than your grandma's secret recipe.

Not your circus, not your monkey.

No strangers here, just issue #94 of The Brief.

In rare cases, sure, let them grab their stuff.  But if the Tenant's paid up with you, probably best to stay away.  Not sure?  Better phone a friend.
