We are committed to your privacy and work hard to safeguard and protect it.  This Privacy Policy governs Landlord Legal’s use and collection of personal data. 

Source of Information.  To best serve you, there are times when we must collect certain nonpublic information about your legal needs, we may collect information about you and your use of our services, including: (a) Personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, physical address, telephone number, employment information, billing address, and credit card; (b) Anonymous demographic information, such as your Postal Code, age, gender, and preferences; (c) Information about your computer hardware and software, such as your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, operating system, cookie information, referring website addresses, and Internet Service Provider; and (d) Information on your use of our website, such as pages visited, links clicked, text entered, and mouse movements.  Landlord Legal is the sole owner of any information collected.

Use of Information.  We use your personal information to deliver the help you request, during your Legal Consultation (as defined in the Limited Scope Representation Agreement) and to improve our services and website. We may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Landlord Legal and its affiliates.  We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to any non-affiliated entity except where required by law.  We do not disclose, rent, sell or otherwise make available your personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.  Your personal information will not be shared with third-parties.

Emails, Surveys & Other Products.  We may use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products and services available through Landlord Legal or its affiliates.  We may also contact you to participate in surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.  

Cookies.  We may use cookies (a piece of data stored on your hard drive containing information about you) and similar technologies. Please do not submit any confidential, proprietary or sensitive personally identifiable information (e.g. Social Security Number; driver’s license number; or credit card, bank account or other financial information). Submitting confidential, proprietary or sensitive personally identifiable information is at your own risk and we will not be liable to you or responsible for consequences of your submission. 

Children. Our websites and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such individuals. If we become aware that an individual under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

United States Access.  Our website and services are operated from within the United States and intended for users located domestically. If you are located outside of the U.S., please be advised that any information we collect will be transferred to, processed, stored and used in the U.S. in accordance with U.S. law, and may be subject to access requests from U.S. government agencies.

Security.  We strive to secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Our services are built on platforms that incorporate the latest encryption and security devices. However, no data transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure and we therefore cannot guarantee the security of information you transmit to or from Landlord Legal. You are encouraged to review this page periodically for the most recent version of this Privacy Policy. Any use of the website or our services shall be deemed to constitute acceptance to the version of the Privacy Policy in effect.
