Some Tenants are mad about this

Nov 30, 2023

Never fails:

It's inspection time (and the Tenant is busy).

You gave them a Notice of Entry.

And picked a time late next week.

But go figure, the Tenant can't make it...

Working overtime.

Kids have practice.

Two-stepping the night away at the local line dance club.

Tough cookies.

You're doing an inspection, not crashing their birthday party.

You don't need to work around a Tenant's busy schedule for inspections.

Give them the notice.

Pick a reasonable time.

Then show up and do your thing.

It's good business to work with a Tenant's schedule.

But if they're lying about not being available busier than a bee in a flower shop, you can still go in.

Giddy up, that's issue #88 of The Brief.

One Tenant accused their Landlord of stealing fish during an inspection...  If you plan to go in without a Tenant, better run it by these folks first.
