You got this text from a tenant:

“Don’t you have to give, like… a week’s notice?”

Hold up...

Brother, you’ve been sending faucet updates since Easter.

One photo looked like a crime scene.

Another might've been spaghetti.

Now you're ready to fix it, and he's wanting 2 weeks notice.

Like you’re asking to borrow his truck — not stop his cabinet from molding.

But he still think he's entitled to more notice to "emotionally prepare."

Unless you're in Cook County:

You only need to give 24 hours’ notice to enter for repairs.

Not a week.

Not a notarized letter.

And no, tenants don't get to “decline the invite.”

It ain’t brunch.
