That's right. The Illinois eviction ban is over.
Even though the U.S. Supreme Court torched the national ban weeks ago, Illinois held on until October 3rd.
For well over a year, Illinois has shown its love affair with Tenants. While Landlords fended for themselves.

Uncle Sam is handing out cash faster than a teenager in a Tesla.
This is true even (especially) for Tenants behind on rent.
The eviction ban is over. Money is available for Tenants.
We'll call it a win.
