Don't use your name

Jun 23, 2022

You get it.

Being a Landlord is risky.

And Lady Luck ain't always on your side.

So you took advice from smart lawyers and started an LLC.

They rambled on about the LLC being a "separate entity."

And how it helps protect your stuff when if you get sued.

Yada yada yada.

You're still not sure how signing a few pieces of paper keeps you safe from greedy Tenants (and their money hungry lawyers).

Not gonna lie, it's strange.

But it works.

If you use an LLC, remember:

The LLC owns the homes, you own the LLC.

Your leases, insurance policies, and other boring papers should name the LLC - not you.

Details matter.
